Request Assessment | Call 911 for Emergencies
Dr. Garcia & Cassidy Chowns NP provide care for urgent, semi-urgent, and routine concerns.
We follow a structured process to ensure fair and timely access for all patients.
Most care begins with a phone call or Ocean communication. If needed, an in-person visit will be arranged.
You can call our office or save time by using our secure online form to submit your request.
To make sure urgent and semi-urgent needs are seen quickly, routine appointments may be scheduled a few weeks out
Step 1: Submit your appointment request
Online: Use our secure Ocean form to send your request directly to our clinic
By Phone: Call (705) 495-2685. Our receptionist will ask a few brief questions and enter them into our secure system.
Step 2: We review requests at 11:00 AM (Monday to Thursday)
Submitted before 11:00 AM: Reviewed the same morning; we aim to address your request in the afternoon by phone or email
Submitted after 11:00 AM: Reviewed the next business morning; we aim to address your request in the afternoon by phone or email
Fridays, weekends, and holidays: Reviewed the next business morning; we aim to address your request in the afternoon by phone or email
Step 3: We contact you
We may call a little early or late if another patient needs extra time
Please help us respect everyone’s schedule by focusing on your most important concern first
Urgent/Semi-Urgent: Appointment within 7 days
Routine: Next available (time time may vary, can be multiple weeks)
We schedule by time, not number of concerns. We’ll focus on your most urgent issue first and arrange follow-ups as needed.
We’ll leave a message and may try again the same business day
If we still can’t reach you, we will try again the next business day
You may also call us at (705) 495-2685 or submit another appointment request
This clinic is not a replacement for the Emergency Department
The Emergency Room can provide some treatments and tests faster than we can in clinic
For life-threatening symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, or signs of a stroke, call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room
